These products are collected with an apheresis cell separation device using Acid-Citrate Dextrose (ACD) anticoagulant.

• Collected from donors that have taken oral steriods the day prior to collection.

• Specific ABO Types should always be considered due to the product containing significant number of residual RBC.

• Hetastarch is used during the apheresis process.
