These products are created by removing most of the plasma from blood collected in a container containing Citrate/Phosphate/Dextrose solution (CPD) anticoagulant. The Hematocrit of these products is typically around 75%.

• Can contain Leukocytes and Platelets or removed by filteration.

• Gamma radiation source exposing to inhibit WBC functions.

• AS-1, AS-3, AS-5 Can extend shelf life from 28 to 42 Days.

• Can be collected from donors that are serologically negative for CMV antibody.

• Can be collected from donors that have specific RBC antigen group exposure or no exposure to those specific groups.
